 Abt 1656 - 1703 (~ 47 years)

Name |
Hannah Barnes |
Birth |
Abt 1656 |
Plymouth, British America [4, 5] |
- If she is the daughter of John Barnes, then she was born about 1644. I don't believe she his daughter, so I think much later. Now Thomas of Hingham had a daughter Anna/Hannah born in 1647, identified in his will as Anna Bream. Since Thomas died before this Hannah and Joseph were married, I suppose she could have been a widow Bream when she married Joseph. I just need to find the Anna/Hannah Barnes ? Bream record for who she married and when he died, etc. for that theory to move forward. That theory won't work either. Hannah/Anna Breame remarried after her Bream husband died.

Notes |
- Anderson says no further record after 1651. There is no mention of Hannah in John Barnes' will. I don't believe that Joseph's wife was the daughter of John & Mary (Plummer) Barnes. Perhaps she is related to Thomas Barnes (maybe a sister?), a servant of John's, perhaps a nephew. There was a Thomas Barnes in Hingham in 1637 (NEHGR 2:251).
