In the name of God Amen The Twentieth day of March in the Eight year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord King Charles of England in Anno Domini One thousand Six  Hundred thirty two I, Robert Dalyber of Selliette within the parish of Stoke Abbot in county of Dorset yeoman being frail in body, but thanks be given to Almighty God, in perfect mind and remembrance, do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following---
 I give and bequeth my soul into the merciful hand of Almighty God my maker and redeemer And my body to be buried in the Churchyard of Stoke Abbot aforesaid,  before the Church porch between the Thorn and the Church porch there near the place my father was buried. And my will and desire is that I may have a Tomb sett over me And towards that charge I give thirteen shillings four pence. Also towards the charge of my funeral and for a sermon to be then prepared I give five pounds thirteen shillings ---
 Then I give to the poor of the Parish of Stoke Abbot aforesaid twentie shillings to be distributed upon the date and at the time of my funerall.
 Then I give to the Church of Stoke Abbot aforesaid twentie shillings to be paid the Churchwarden of the said parish within halfe a yeare after my decease.
 Then I give to my second son Tristram Dalyber the sum of fifty pounds (fifty shillings crossed out) of lawfull money to be paid unto him within two years next after my death. And ten pounds more of the money due to be paid unto him upon bond of Edward Cotherington gent at Michaelmas one thousand six hundred forty.
 Then I give to my son Samuell the life sum of fifty pounds of lawfull money to be paid  him within three years next after my death. And likewise the sume of twentie pounds which is owingst to me upon speciality by Edward Cotherington aforesaid gent, To be paid in May one thousand six hundred thirtie five.
 Then I give to my son Joseph Dalyber the sume of fifty pounds of lawfull money to be paid unto him within seven years next after my decease And also the same sume of ten pounds more of the money due to me from the said Edward  Cotherington upon the bond of forty pounds to pay twenty pounds at said Michaelmas one thousand six hundred forty.
 Then I give to my daughter Mary Dalyber the life sume of fifty pounds of lawfull money to be paid unto her within the part of the fifth year next my decease.
 Then I give unto my daughter Sara Dalyber the life sum of fifty pounds of lawfull money to be paid unto her within part of the fifth year next after my decease.
 Then I give to my daughter Rebecca Dalyber being my youngest daughter the life sume of fifty pounds of lawfull money to be paid unto her within part of nine years next after my decease. All which several legacies and sums hereby given to my said sons and daughters I do appoint to be raised and made well out of my goods and shatterals and likewise out of a sume of three hundred pounds limited to be raised out of moiety of my lands called Sellieth according to my deed in that behalfe made and bearing date within my will.
 Then I give to my two sons in law Walter Burt and John Lesty the sume of twenty shillings apiece to be paid them within one year next my decease.
 Then I give unto Josiah Burt, the said Walter Burt eldest son the sume of twenty shillings to be paid him within one year next after my decease.
 Then I give unto the three sons of the said John Lesty namely John, Edward, and William Lesty the sume of ten pounds to be equally divided betweenst them and
 to be paid unto them when they shall attaine to the age of one and twenty years and each of them severall to give an arquittqnrt and difeharyt for the receipt of it.  And my will is that if either or any of them die before he or they accomplish the age of one and twenty years Then his or their part to be equally divided and paid to the survivor or survivors of them.
 Then I give to my wife two of my best kine which I shall have at the of  my decease and the bedstead, feather bed, pillows, bolsters, and blankets, coverlets, sheetswith all the furniture belonging to it which standeth in the parlor.
 Then I give unto my son Samuel my best riding coat and my doublet and hose which is of the same cloth.
 Then I give unto my son Tristram my cloake lined with purple baayrd
 Then all the rest of my goods, chattels, specialities, household stuff and utensils filled as all personal goods what forever which I have not before given or bequethed I give and bequeth to my oldest son Robert Dalyber whom I make and ordain my sole executor charging him upon my blessings And as he will sear it as at the last day to see through my last will and testament fully performed and that he keep and maintain all my said children with necessary and provide foods, fire, and clothings until their several portions is routinely fitting for them to do And all other wills I utterly revoke and renounce.
 
 In witness wherof I have sett my hand and seal this date and year above said in the persouent of the mark of Robert Daliber.
