    • There is a puzzle with Asa's first son, Asa LeBreche Rock though. There is the birth record in Plainfield which does not imply that it was a twin birth-however according to Jack who remembers his aunts & uncles this man was called William Rock. If you check the SSDI there is a William Rock born on the same day and died in Derry NH which is where Jack stated he died. William left CT and lived in Bristol NH for a time and then moved down to Derry. My husband believes he remembers visiting him (Uncle Bill) when they would go to the beach in NH. He didn't remember that it was his great uncle, just a really good guy that was pretty poor. I haven't gotten to check with the Catholic Church in Derry but they should have a record of his death.
