"Henry Dyer appears to have been one of the founders of the church in Truro, Mass. On May 17,1730, his wife "Annar" was admitted to membership. On May 24,1737, Henry Dyer bought ninety acres of land in Falmouth, Me. of John Foye of Charlestown, Ma. for 300 Lbs. It was near the land of John Sawyer and John Mariner. He bought more land later of Capt. John Libby and exchanged acres with Briant Morton. He began dividing land for his sons, giving his son Henry ... acres next to William Elwell's 60 acre lot."
