Birth 1611  England Find all individuals with events at this location
    • Malcolm Storer says he was born about 1615, the son of Augustine and Susannah (Hutchinson) Storre. This would ignore the fact that Augustine and Susanna were married in 1623 and that if Susanna were actually William's mother, she would have been 13 years old.

    • Malcolm Storer says William married Sarah Starbuck on 23 Aug 1648. Torrey also says she was the Sarah Starbuck who married Joseph Austin and Humphrey Varney. (p, 715), yet elsewhere he has the widow Storer marrying Samuel Austin. There many problems with all this. Joseph Austin and Sarah Starbuck were having children from 1647 at least until 1655. Storer & Torrey online are just plain wrong. Since there seems to be an insistence on calling he Sarah Starbuck, perhaps she was a sister of Edward's instead?

  • Notes
    • Based on William's birth date, it is not likely that he was the son of Augustine and Susannah (NEHGR 33:98). He could have been a son of an earlier marriage. GDMNH says there is a baptism of a William, son of William, on 4 Sep 1611 in Wirksworth, Derby that may be promising. I've found that and I'm going with that - at least for now.
