Thomas Moulton
       
was born on
16 Jul 1608 in Ormesby, co. Norfolk,
England. He was baptized on 16 Jul 1608 in Ormesby, co. Norfolk,
England.   He took the oath of freeman on 31 Mar 1638 in Newbury, Essex
Co., Massachusetts.  He was a
selectman in 1644. He died
about 1703 in York, York Co.,
Province of Maine, Massachusetts.   He was a
yeoman.
Thomas Moulton of
Hampton, New Hampshire, brought with him to York in 1655 his wife and at least
four of his children: Abigail (1645-1692) who married Henry Simpson and was killed
with him in the Massacre; Joseph (1648-1692), who with his wife Hannah (Littlefield) was also killed in the Massacre; Jeremiah (1650-1731), whose first
wife was a daughter of Roland Young; Mary (1652-1725), whose second husband was
Samuel Bragdon.In later generations there are families of Emersons, Freemans,
Bowdens, Talpeys, Putnams, Bragdons, and others.
Mary and Thomas were twins. He was married to Martha Page before 1638 in
Newbury,
Merrimack Co., New Hampshire.     
Martha Page was born about 1622. She died
about 1711. Children were:

Thomas Moulton    was baptized
on 24 Nov 1639 in Hampton, Rockingham Co., New
Hampshire.  
ii.
Daniel Moulton   was baptized on 13 Feb 1640/41 in Hampton, Rockingham Co., New
Hampshire.   He died
on 18 Feb 1665. He had estate
inventory taken on 22 Jun 1671.

Hannah Moulton.
iv.
Abigail Moulton    was born on 22 Mar 1642
or about 1643.
She died in May 1692 in York, York Co.,
Province of Maine, Massachusetts,
killed in the Massacre.

Mary Moulton.

Joseph Moulton   was born about
1653
and died in 1692.
vii.
Capt. Jeremiah Moulton Esq.  was born
about 1656.  "...Clark
and Worth" has 1650. He died on 22 Oct 1727
or on 26 Dec 1731 in York, York Co.,
Province of Maine, Massachusetts. He was a Judge of Probate Court.
He was married to Mary Young on 24 Jun
